The North Carolina League Of Municipalities (NCLM) Is Seeking A 财产 And 伤亡 Underwriter. This Position Is Part Of Underwriting Team And Is Responsible For Analyzing And Underwriting 财产, General Liability, Employee Benefits, Liquor Liability, 商务汽车, Police Professional, Employment Practices, 犯罪, 内陆水运, Cyber And Workers' Compensation. This Position Is Also Responsible For Evaluating Risks, 曝光, Loss Experience And Presenting Any Needed Recommendations To The Director Of P&C承销.  The Underwriter Will Be Responsible For Evaluating Risk 曝光, Reviewing 财产 Schedules And Auditing Payroll To Determine Proper 保险 Coverage And Associated Premiums For Members Of The League's 保险 Pools.

Additional Duties Include:

• Underwrites New And Renewal Accounts By Analyzing 财产, Liability And Workers Compensation Municipal 曝光.
• Reviews Loss History And Current Risk Management Practices And Assists In Revising Renewal Applications.

• Prepares And Organizes Mass Mailing Of Applications And Assists In The Preparation Of New Business And Renewal Documents/Proposals/Quote Comparisons.

• Receives And Processes Requests For Changes In 财产, Building, Equipment, Or Vehicle Coverage.
• Reviews Member's Contracts In Regards To 保险 Requirements And Make Risk Management Recommendations To The Member (I.E., Additional Insured, Indemnification, Hold Harmless Arrangements, Etc.).
• Conducts Visits To Members To Analyze Risks, Verify Schedules, And Explain Coverages Available And Answers Members' Questions Regarding 曝光 And Appropriate Coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work Requires Broad Knowledge In A General Professional Or Technical Field.  Knowledge Is Normally Acquired Through Four Years Of College Resulting In A Bachelor's Degree In Course Of Study Related To Business, 保险, Occupational Field Or Equivalent.

Three Or More Years' Experience Required. (Commercial 财产 伤亡 And Workers Compensation Multi-Line Underwriter).  Professional Designations (CPCU, CIC) Would Be Strongly Beneficial And Preferred. Working Knowledge Of ISO/NCCI/NCRB Rules And Rating Methodology.
